Lesson 1: Introduction

Today’s dynamic business environment comes with constant changes in technology, analytics, marketing, and customer expectations. Teams need to work together to manage these rapid changes – and if they’re going to do that, they need a leader.

According to Aristotle, probably the greatest philosopher and thinker of all time, the most important goal you could hope to accomplish in your life is to become an excellent person. Your purpose should be to develop the kind of personality and character that earns you the respect, admiration, and affection of the important people in your world. 

How do you develop the necessary characteristics? According to Aristotle, all you need to do is practice the characteristic you want to display. If you want to be brave, act courageously even when you feel afraid. If you want to be a good leader – lead.

This module is all about what kind of leadership skills you should develop, and how, to make sure that your followers will be happy to let you lead them. By the end of this module, you will be able to:
